Angel Studios is one of Australia's finest professional recording environments, boasting Class-A multi-track analogue and digital recording equipment, and excellent facilities for broadcast quality video production. Established in 2000, we are Australian owned with a strong focus on quality. Studio 2 (Archerfield), acoustically designed by Dr. Paul Day, is a large purpose-built space which is perfect for professional recording and filming. Fully equipped with professional lighting and blue/green screen facilities, it can accommodate large scale projects such as choirs and orchestras, CD launches, video presentations, and functions.
Angel Studios, Archerfield is also a teaching facility, offering classes and private lessons in audio engineering, music, singing, acting and film making, as well as holiday workshops, and competitions.
Audio equipment includes: 64 channel automated Neve-designed Amek desk, 24 bit 192 KHz digital recording, Lynx AD/DA converters, extensive range of outboard gear (Avalon, Urei, Amek, Lexicon, DBX, TC Electronics), Microphones (Neumann, AKG, Sennheiser, Coles, Shure, Beyer, Sony, Rode). In-house drum kit (Pearl Masters Series), keyboards (Roland, Yamaha), and amps (Vox, Fender, Marshall, TC Electronics, Roland). The equipment is regularly updated.
Video equipment includes: Sony PMW-F5 CineAlta 4K Camera with Zeiss Cinema Prime Lens Kit, Sony PMW-EX3 XDCAM EX Camera, Sony broadcast monitors (Swift), recorders/players, Dolly, Jib & Track, Nikon D-800, Boom Poles, range of lighting, HD Projector, 6 metre screen, extensive range of editing and effects software.
